I am reading up on CoQ10 and need to place my next supplement order and I think I should get some of this. Does anyone have any good information on dosage levels and what to look for for maximum bioavailability?

I wish I knew more. The kind of CoQ10 matters.

My wife notices a boost of energy when she takes it regularly.

If you're not on statins, is there any benefit in taking CoQ10? It's pretty expensive stuff.

This should be a standard supplement for everyone since it diminishes in the body as we age. If you are over 40, you should take the Ubiquinol form as it is more easily/readily absorbed. CoQ10 has to be converted by the body to Ubiquinol in order for it to be used.

I've been using the AgeForce Omega 3 + Co-Q10 transdermal patch. I'd definitely recommend it. The only issue, like many supplements, is absorbing it. There is plenty of evidence out there than Co-Q10 is beneficial for anyone in-terms of cardiovascular health. In my opinion, it's a crime that it isn't REQUIRED for anyone on Cholesterol treatment or Statins.
