Scales
I have a what used to be a very good bathroom scale (twas not cheap at the time), but it is the old analog style, heavy and bulky. I fiddle with it each time before weighing to make sure it is zero'd properly, and weigh 2-3 times to make sure I get a consistent reading. While I have no real need to weigh to 0.2 lb increments, it would be easier to see a digi reading than using the 0.5 lb estimate when the needle is between the lines on my current scale.
So ... I would like to get a digital scale to take some of this fiddling out of it. I am not so concerned about the body fat measurement, but if it has that feature for not too much more $$ it couldn't hurt. The price differential for getting something on ebay vs. say, Bed Bath & Beyond is considerable. If I can weigh consistently for ~$25-30 I see no reason to spend $87 for a Tanita (that would be BBB cost w/coupie & tax). But if the cheapo is going to drive me nuts and crap out I see no reason to dump $$ down a hole. I'm seeing a ton of scales in the $25-$50 range at Walmart too -- it's enough to boggle the mind!!
Soooo ... I'm looking for input:
Brand/Model of scale
Approx cost (where purchased)
Features (memory, %BF, BMI calc?)
Most importantly: Are you happy with the scale and does it give consistent readings?
Thanks in advance!

RE: Scales
I have a Pelouze model 4040. It's a digital scale, but the readout is not on the scale itself, it's on a small readout that you mount wherever you want. It is attached to the scale by a cord. Ours is mounted at eye level so you can just step on the scale and not have to wiggle around to be able to see the number on the scale (some of you will know what I mean). Also as we get older it gets harder to read those numbers down there.
Here's a link to it on Amazon.com:

I hope that works.
It uses a 9-volt battery. We've had it for about 8 years and it seems to be working fine.
