NUUN
There has been talk about Gatorade alternatives and up until now the choices were:

G2 - still high carb yet lower that Gatorade original, Powerade Zero or a recipe from Dr. Bernstein - found in The Diabetes Solution.

There is a new product out now called NUUN It's a sugar free, electrolyte tablet which can be added to water.

I've tried it and I'll admit that it's not as flavorful as Gatorade but, it's a great alternative. I tend to dehydrate and get headaches so, I keep them handy for those times.

RE: NUUN
I found a store-brand, sugar free electrolite drink in the powdered drink section of my grocery store, HEB. I have also see some at Kroger in the past, but haven't been able to find it recently. It's great for when I've been working outside. It comes in the packets to mix with a 1/2 litre bottle of water.
