No more PMS with Low-carb
Hi, although I've been reading through this site almost all the time, but I'm quite new with trying this diet, as I've only started 5 days ago. I've realised massive improvements with myself in just 2 days in terms of physique and overall health. Usually, I am quite hormonal when it comes to PMS ( one of my worst times ever) and I'd usually suffer from heavy migraines, obvious breakouts, red eyes (from low oxygen), mood swings, IBS and all sorts of unwanted things that you could ever imagine. One time, I even fainted from PMS - and doctors would usually tell me to stay away from fatty foods such as milk and cheese.
It was not until I saw Jimmy Moore's youtube video about PMS where he mentioned that " what your brain is really telling you is that it needs fats and not sugars" and that was when it really hit me and I told myself " I really gotta try this out, there is no way, this should work. If it does, then I will live like this for the rest of my life" and Jimmy was right. 2 days later, all my sufferings were gone. My stomach became flatter, my head became more alert and clear that i didn't need to chain smoke and sleep all the time. And I've realised I'm more satisfied with eating and sleeping less. I became less grouchy too. usually at this time, my migrained would be very frequent, and here I am anticipating for a headache. NOTHING! so JImmy, hats down to you.
