I'm going to test today and start the 200 Sit Up Challenge for a T/Th/Sa schedule.

Always been pretty good with the situps - used to do 200 (regular ones) a day back when I was 110 lbs. I've not been consistent but the Pilates ab work does pay off.

If I can find and scan it, I'll post a pic of my killer abs from the olden days. I have no illusions of getting back to that tummy -- too many years of abuse, stretch marks and extra skin -- but I CAN get the abs underneath which will make it look better!

Today: W1D1C3 Goal: 15/18/10/10/14+ Did: 15/18/20/10/30 Yeah that's right, I was so used to counting in 5's for doing more pushups, I busted right through 10 and did 20 before realizing it on the third set. I more than doubled the last set minimum so I'm not sure this is really pushing me.

Looking at the entire program, I think realistically I can start this in Week 3 Middle Column. So my plan for Thursday is to just pick up with Day 2 of that Week and see how it goes. If that's overreaching, I'll see where my actual performance puts me for a "Day 2" and work from there.

Well, I missed my workout yesterday between traveling to our former home, cleaning out the stuff that got wet there, mowing the acre lawn (and getting downpoured on!!) and driving back. I was plain tuckered. Did my pushups today. We're going for a mini-getaway getting a jacuzzi hotel room to RELAX. I'll try to fit the situps in, but if not, the plan is to do W2D3 tomorrow and just "start" at Week 3 on Tuesday.

Geez ... I'm such a lazy bum sometimes. LOL

Our hotel lost power yesterday morning which kind of defeated part of the purpose of our getaway -- jacuzzi tub! So I totally forgot to do my situps.

My plan now is simply to do T/Th/Sa starting with Week 3 Middle Column since that seems reasonable to me.

I kinda wish they had one of these for squat-thrusts aka burpees. Squats don't appeal to me, but something a bit more plyometric might work. Maybe I'll design my own program
