Thanks for sharing. Listened to the podcast too. Loved the part (in the podcast) about how he has his kevlar vest ready. He has definitely done his homework so he is going to be a hard one for the USDA to mess with. His information explains why Ansel Keys lived to be 100, why George McGovern lived to be 90, and why people on Dean Ornish's diet have reversed heart disease and why low carb works as well.

Just like us low carbers, they avoid processed food like the plague thus avoiding sugar and high fructose corn syrup, they shop the outer aisles, and eat real food. What's more, unlike early low carbers, by avoiding meat, they avoided too much omega6 meat from corn fed cattle and by avoiding fat, they avoided too much omega6 oils that early low carbers didn't know to avoid back in the day. Also by avoiding fats period, they certainly avoided transfats.

He is so right about finding the common ground and hopefully working together to get the truth out. If vegans and meat eaters united and found common ground, Lustig could be a serious threat to the USDA.

It doesn't suprise me that it turned out to be a pediatric endocrinologist that started shouting the truth from the rooftops.

His example should inspire vegans and meat eaters to put aside their differences and work for the common good of the children in this nation who are literally being poisoned. United, we could be so powerful, but as long as we are fighting each other, Lustig is just a "voice crying out in the wilderness.
