Does anyone know the carb count on homebrewed Kombucha tea?

I stopped making kombucha when I went low carb last summer. I know the experts say that the scoby actually eats all the sugar but I'm not so sure because it still tastes sweet even after the brewing process.

Thank you for the info. I am not sure either, but my kombucha brew has NEVER tasted the least bit sweet! lol :-) I brew mine and keep in the pantry to get it nice a bubbly. I will have to research it more. Thanks again!

i have been LCHF for a couple of weeks now. I am in ketosis (testing using precision extra blood ketone testing).

I am drinking my home made Kombucha that has fermented for 2 months (PH 2.8 - sour) . I mix it with fruit tea and stevia. It is delcicous! Best part is that my blood sugar actually drops after ingesting this drink while in a fasted state in the morning.. I guess it is true that stevia lowers blood sugar. Also this drink eliminates any desire for fruit .. I mix 2 ounces Kombucha with stevia and fruit tea. my blood ketones levels are still up after drinking this beverage using Kombucha.
