Heinz Reduced Sugar Ketchup

I've seen it at Wal-Mart for about $1.74 and at Kroger for about $2.19 and it tastes just like regular Heinz ketchup.

Ingredients: Tomato concentrate made from red ripe tomatoes, distilled vinegar, salt, onion powder spice, sucralose, natural flavoring

1 tablespoon = 1g Carbohydrate; 0g Dietary Fiber; 1g Net Carb

I love, love, love this stuff! I actually did a happy dance in the isle when they started carrying it in my local store! (My sister explained to the stock person that I was a tad crazy!)

Wal-Mart has quit carrying it here but I can still get it at Kroger. Once they stop selling it I'll go back to making my homemade ketchup recipe.

I buy the 1 carb ketchup online. Actually just did a review on it on my website. I really like it a lot. I wonder what the difference if anything is between them?

No difference, they've just re-labeled it as far as I can tell. Otherwise it seems to be the exact same product.

I found it at Meijer.

Oh cool! Good to know. If they stop carrying one, maybe the other will still be there! Thanks!

Our Walmart still sells it and it's the only ketchup I buy. Even though I'm now off of Splenda, I still buy this.. The three I have all say, "One Carb" on the label. *Ü*

i wonder how much splenda is in it...

I really don't want to give up my LC ketchup when I cut out Sugar free stuff.

It's hard to say but maybe you'll get an idea from the amount I use in my homemade ketchup recipe. The level of sweetness is probably similar to Heinz.

EVEN BETTER "HEINZ" KETCHUP
6 ounce can tomato paste
8 ounce can tomato sauce
1/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2-1 teaspoon salt
1/16 teaspoon allspice
1/16 teaspoon ground cloves
1/16 teaspoon cinnamon
1/16 teaspoon garlic powder

Mix all of the ingredients well. Keep refrigerated.

Makes 1 3/4 cups or about 28 tablespoons

Oh Thanks so much. I think I may have just about all of these ingredients. Have you ever put less splenda in the recipe? If so how did it turn out? Do you know the rough carb count per serving for yours?
It sounds so good!

I was going to make a new post .... and found this old one instead. The product label has slightly changed from the original post to "one carb" instead of reduced sugar. Hmm... maybe this LC WOE is catching on! I found this at our local Albertsons for about $2.50/14 oz bottle.

Great product ~ tastes the same as regular ketchup ~ a product that will always be in my fridge!

....75% less sugar than reg. ketchup!

I use the Heinze too, but may need to try LindaSues recipe.

Her recipe sounds yummo too, but it's all about convenience in a bottle for me! Happy LCing!!

I don't use ketchup very often so I've been buying the Heinz just for convenience too. I stocked up on several bottles of it while Wal-Mart was still selling it. They have it at Kroger but it costs more than I'm willing to pay.

I found a bunch at Big Lots for $1.30 a bottle. It is usually $1.98 at Walmart. I seriously stocked up

Thanks, Wifezilla! I will check it out this week down here in Texas! DD/14 tried the product yesterday and didn't like it. She said it tasted too much like tomatoes!!!! LOL. I guess she means the sugar is missing! That's what I like about it.
