I have tried the Dixie Diners Carb Controlled Granola. It was okay, but I won't be purchasing it again. After that experience, I was hesitant to try another LC granola.

I just don't like to waste my carbs on mediocre foods, but now I'm so glad that I took a chance on Flax-Z-Snax!

Flax-Z-Snax Granola comes in Cinnamon Nut, Cranberry Macadamia, and Wild Cherry Nut. I have tried only the last two flavors, but they are both delicious. These are sweet enough to taste like granola, but not so sweet that they taste like candy or dessert.

Rich in fat from canola oil and flax, this cereal contains 12 to 15 grams of fat per half-cup serving.

THIS PRODUCT DOES CONTAIN MALTITOL.

I do not experience portion control problems or cravings with this food. I often have a half-cup serving for breakfast with a quarter-cup of either whipping cream or half-and-half, usually with 2 eggs on the side.

Due to the maltitol and the insignificant amount of protein in this food, I don't recommend it as a full breakfast, but it's a nice, tasty complement to meat or eggs.
