Talking about low-carb convenient foods, I actually like Vienna Sausage, those little 5 oz cans with seven mini-hot-dogs in them.
I know, I know . . . a lot of people gag at the thought, but I keep a few cans in my desk drawer, and eat them straight out of the can (or, as with Spam, with mustard).
Libby's Chicken Vienna Sausage, 1 can:
233 calories
163 calories from fat (70%)
2.3 g carbs
11.7 g protein
I would like to find some with a higher protein/fat ratio, but these are what I currently buy.
