Hey everyone,

We're in Nashville for FitCamp and it's FINALLY here. I'll be posting my videos from this experience in this thread for you to see what's happening to me, your fellow forum member swatkins (Shari), and the others as former Biggest Loser contestant Isabeau Miller takes us through this two-week journey together.

Here's Episode 1:

SEE YA! Smile
Good Luck to you, Sounds like its going to be an amazing time... alison
Since I can't get You Tube, I wish you would outline the exercises and time spent at each. Thanks.
I have VERY limited time to do that, Rozi, but I'll try to do a recap when I get back. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS YOUTUBE! Big Grin Also, Shari Watkins (swatkins) is here and will be sharing in her personal journal, too.
Loved the first Youtube for Fitcamp... especially Christine's PJ's! You two are an awesome pair! Will you be posting your menus while away?

Also.... wondering if Isabeau has kept her weight off since Biggest Loser? thanks!
THANKS Kathy! I am uploading Episode 2 as we speak from this morning's brutal beatings. Smile Yes, I'll continue to post my menus and workouts on my menus blog while away. I'm even including the calories this week since they want me at 2500 a day. As for Isabeau, since I've never met her in person before, I don't know. She'd be the first to say she could lose some more weight, but she is definitely healthier and more fit than she was one year ago before "The Biggest Loser." Smile
Okay, here's Episode 2 for your viewing pleasure from FitCamp:

Loved Episode 2.... Jimmy you did AWESOME! You always seemed to be a step in front of everyone else. All that personal training seems to have helped quite a bit....YEPPERS!

Was your Hypoglycemia a side effect of your new med? And do you eat at the hotel or do they provide meals to the group as a whole?
No, I've had the dizziness when working out well before taking Metformin. Each room was provided with food to fill our full-sized refrigerator with, but we got some low-carb stuff as you'll see in my menus blog this week. I'm eating 2500 calories a day to keep up with these brutal workouts.
BRUTAL?..... Jimmy, you made it look like a piece of cake!Big Grin
Oh, you only saw a brief snippet. By the end of the day, I was wore completely out. Smile

Rozi it's not a complete list, but my journal does give some information about the exercises they are having us do. The torchure from this morning I think all would agree was the "parking lot suicide exercise" Basically we had about 25 lines that were in your standard parking lot, and we ran from one curb and touched the first line, then back to the curb, then ran and touched the second line and then back to the curb, and so on. I think they do this kind of thing with the football players on the football field touching each 10 yard line, back and to goal and back. Jimmy is right you gotta catch his videos, after all a picture is worth a thousand words, so true.

Please drop by and visit my journal for a sketchy outline of our day. I am with Jimmy beat up, and tired. Sleeping should be good tonight if the muscles don't ache too much.

Hope you sleep well, Jimmy and Christine. Thanks for being a great cheerleader Christine, you are doing a good job, keeping my spirits high. Goodness knows I am so more aware of how much more exercise I need to add to my life. I thought water aerobics 3-4 times a weeks was good. Wrong! I guess your body gets used to everything after a while, and we need to shake it up.

Nitey, Night
Thanks for posting the videos - will check them out tonight.

Good luck Shari and Jimmy!! Smile
I just got up from my nap and I'm so sore my hair hurts! EEEEEK! Pray for me and Shari guys. This is a HUGE challenge.

They have any whirlpools there? Sounds like you need it. Good luck!
Jimmy,
Love the videos and can't wait to see the next installment. I'm cheering you and SWATKINS on.
I have decided to do a mini fit camp with you. I don't have a personal trainer, but I'm gonna go to the gym and mimick your workouts as best I can, starting tomorrow morning at 5:00 am. I have always done the jumps back and forth across the lines for volleyball and actually enjoy that. But not suicides, moutain climbers, jumps, etc. So....you are inspiring me.
Can't wait to see what's next and what happens for you guys over the next couple weeks.
Take care...
Hi Christine!!!!!
